Virginia Farm is situated in the Eston region of Kwa Zulu Natal. Eston is situated halfway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, and is predominantly a sugar cane farming area. This region also forms part of one of the oldest conservancies, namely the Beaumont Eston Conservancy.

"The Shed"

 

Come and relax in a Converted Farm Shed, now a large 3 ½ bedroom flat. Use this accommodation as your base for activities in the Eston Area.

The Eston area is well-known for its Sugar Cane and Timber Farms, an ideal getaway for the outdoor enthusiast and nature lovers.

 

Self catering rustic accommodation sleeping up to 7 people. 1 bathroom with Shower and toilet, the facilities are not en-suite.

A large Open Plan kitchen, dining room and living room.

A Verandah to sit outside and enjoy the fresh country air.

Linen and towels are supplied.

 

RATES : ADULTS : R 275 per person per night

CHILDREN under 12 : R 140 per child

Minimum charge of R 520 per night.

Only 1 hr from Durban, 45 mins from Pietermaritzburg

and 25mins from Kingsburgh.

 

Directions To Virginia Trails

GPS Co Ordinates 29 59'27.73"S 30 36'35.10"E (at eZimwini Turn Off from the R603)

 

From PMB : 50 mins Drive

Take the R603, Umlaas Rd, Umbumbulu Fly off, off the Freeway

Head straight towards Eston and Umbumbulu

 

From DURBAN : 65 mins Drive

Go along the N3 and take the Camperdown Fly off. Go left at the bridge and follow that road until you get to a T-junction. Go left towards Eston and Umbumbulu.

At the Caltex Service Station keep straight on the R603 and go a further+- 15km.

The single lane goes into a double lane as you go up a hill, you pass the Telkom and MTN tower on top of the hill.

Go down the hill around two sharp bends and turn right onto a tar road called EZIMWINI.

 

From AMANZIMTOTI : 25 mins Drive

Get onto the R603 Umbumbulu Road to Eston. Pass through Umbumbulu and when you get into the commercial canelands area, you will pass Cranford farm on your left, the R603 changes to a double lane, go 1km and turn left onto the EZIMWINI tar road

Go 3.6 kms and turn right onto a dirt road and follow directions to the parking and venue.
